Miners Leadership Initiative
Overview
The Miners Leadership Initiative (MLI) is an interactive one-semester program designed to support and empower first-year students as they transition into university. Throughout the Fall semester, participants engage in a series of workshops designed to build their understanding of essential leadership topics including strategic leadership, effective communication, and emotional intelligence. MLI emphasizes team-based activities and personal reflection to enhance students' professional and marketable skills, equipping them to tackle real-world challenges effectively.
Students have the opportunity to form connections with peers, faculty, alumni, industry professionals, and community leaders, creating a strong support system and an early introduction to professional environments.
