Supporting The ¹ú²ú͵ÅÄ Library Since 1987

As UTEP moves toward becoming a national research university with a 21st-century student demographic, the resources that the ¹ú²ú͵ÅÄ Library provides must continue to facilitate student success, provide access to research materials for faculty, and house documents on the history of our region and its principal players.

The Friends of the ¹ú²ú͵ÅÄ Library provides the Library with support and assistance in reaching these goals. An example is the Friends of the ¹ú²ú͵ÅÄ Library Special Collections Endowment Fund, established to support the programs and operations of the C. L. Sonnichsen Special Collections department.

The Library plays many roles on campus and in the community.

As a member of Friends of The ¹ú²ú͵ÅÄ Library you will receive a library card, invitations to special receptions and exhibit openings, advance notice of lectures and programs, and the chance to meet people who share your support of making the Library and the ¹ú²ú͵ÅÄ a place of success for our students and community.
