Our Leadership Role in Health Disparity Research at UTEP
The College of Health Sciences hosts the annual Viva la Salud Health Disparities Conference to promote the college faculty's diverse research and service profile. Each year, nationally renowned health disparities researchers are invited as keynote speakers. The conference highlights its faculty and student research being conducted in the laboratory and in the community. The conference also initiates a conversation about regional health disparities with community leaders and stakeholders through its invited panel discussion. The Viva la Salud conference is open to community members, UTEP faculty, staff, and students.
