Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU) Internship Program
HACU has offered one of the best paid internship programs in the country since 1992, providing 14,000 alumni invaluable professional experience interning within a federal agency.
Benefits:

- Year-round sessions: fall and spring (15 weeks) and summer (10 weeks)
- Virtual, hybrid, and in-person formats

The MERITUS Program supports highly motivated faculty-student teams for 32 weeks of multidisciplinary, hands-on research. Each team prepares a project proposal packet that includes a project description and mentoring plan. MERITUS students will also receive professional development through workshops spaced throughout the academic year. The aim of the program is to encourage students to gain valuable professional skills through immersion in research projects enabling them to acquire a deeper understanding of their chosen discipline.
Application Period: April 1 - June 15 Annually

National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency NGA Student Internship Program
Interns are guaranteed work that contributes to NGA's mission of creating worldclass geospatial intelligence. All interns will be assigned projects from their supervisor. At the end of the summer, interns will have the opportunity to participate in a forum and present their projects to the agency's top executives.
Student Programs will also provide informational events, luncheons, tours and more.
Eligibility:
- Open to associate, undergraduate, graduate, and post-graduate students.
- Open to a large variety of degree fields, depending on the internship program.

The mission of the Minority Serving Institution Partnership Program (MSIPP) is to create and support a sustainable career pathway that prepares a diverse workforce of talented students to make immediate and significant contributions to the Nuclear Security Enterprise (NSE).
As a NNSA-MSIIP Intern, you will:
- Participate in world-class research and operations projects and activities across the NNSA enterprise
- Build a strong foundation for careers in science, technology, mathematics, and policy
- Apply your skills and knowledge to real-world challenges, gaining a competitive edge in your field
- Establish connections with Nuclear Security Enterprise (NSE) scientists and subject matter experts that promote long-term relationships between yourself, researchers, and other professionals in your field
Benefits:
- Undergraduate Students and Post-Associate's - $750 per week
- Post-Bachelor's- $850 per week
- Master's Students - $950 per week
- Post-Master's - $1,050 per week
- Doctoral Students and Postdoctoral - $1,150 per week

The Ready2Work (R2W) Internship will provide you with a great learning experience within the U.S. Department of Energy (DoE).
You must meet the following to be eligible for an internship:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Be a U.S. citizen
- Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale as of Spring/Summer 2024
- Meet one of the following conditions:
- Be a current (2024-2025 academic year) undergraduate or graduate student. Be a recent graduate (Spring 2023 or later)
Stipends:
- Undergraduate student - $750/week
- Graduated with bachelor’s degree - $850/week
- Graduate student - $950/week
- Graduated with master’s degree - $1,050/week
- Graduated with a doctoral degree - $1,150/week
- Virtual Internships: If no relocation is required to complete your summer appointment, you will receive a stipend supplement of $150 per week to offset the cost of remote participation.
