Active Organizations and Student Interns
Welcome to the Community Work-Study Program
Thank you for being part of the UTEP Community Work-Study Mentorship & Internship Program.
This program is built on collaboration, mentorship, learning, and community impact. Through these experiences, students and community partners work together to support meaningful projects while strengthening professional skills, leadership development, and community engagement.
We encourage students and partners to approach this experience with curiosity, communication, professionalism, and a willingness to learn from one another. Meaningful growth often develops through mentorship, shared experiences, reflection, and collaboration with community members and organizations across the region.
Although placements occur across various organizations and community settings, UTEP Engage remains available to support students and partners throughout the experience. Our goal is to help create rewarding, impactful, and mutually beneficial partnerships that support both student success and community priorities.
